Please Allow Me to Introduce Myself

What Could Easily be My Dreadful Stepdaughters

It is time to put fingers to keyboard, and give the world my side of the story.  For too long now those ghastly stepdaughters of mine have been declaring me an uncaring, unfeeling and selfish woman.  Well that simply isn't true, ask their father, he's very happy.  I take great care of him and we have a wonderful life together.  I'm simply not interested in their little dramas and their dull sounding lives.  I have tried to be pleasant, and when I have to see them I do smile and nod, but if I wasn't here to tend to their dear sweet father, let's face it, they certainly wouldn't.

Ofcourse, I have my own daughters to think of, and naturally they are far more important to me than anyone elses children, any mother would be the same, surely.  His two daughters have done nothing to ingratiate themselves to me. From day one, they made their feelings quite clear, and even suggested I might not be good enough for their daddy.  I suppose as their own mother is such a bad example of what a mother should be this may have left them with a generally low opinion of any mother.

Anway I have to fly off now for a little shopping and lunch, but I promise to return soon with some insightful observations, such as the youngest stepdaughter must be comfort eating as she's put on a great deal of weight recently, and the eldest one has gone the other way and either isn't eating at all, or is taking drugs, either way she's lost the plot.

  1. Hi, let me be the first to welcome you to blogging! Thanks for dropping by, and thanks for leaving a very welcome thought. I tend to agree with you, hair color will not be a factor if a girl has sexy legs.
I hope to see you visit again, you are always welcome. And thanks for the follow!

    Best wishes, and take care.
    Colin.

  5. What a lovely title for a blog!

I feel for you being a stepmother. I was one too for 9 months before I couldn't stand it any longer (she was 15 going on 35) and I had to get her out of my house. Her father followed soon after, to my relief, and tranquillity was restored. Aaaah.

As you say, you can stand your own kids (and love them dearly) but others are just not the same!
